Partnach Gorge

We took the bus to the Partnach gorge today. I can only describe it in one word: BREATHTAKING!!!! I am always awed by natures beauty and force and today was no exception. We hiked with my cousin Michael who is visiting (our first official visitor) and of course the boys. There is a trail carved into the side of the rock wall at the bottom of the gorge next to the river that at times was only 3 feet wide. There were waterfalls coming from above some falling over 200 feet to the bottom. At the top of the gorge we took a break and had some lunch, threw some rocks and then trekked back down. Lil Kody was so tuckered out he fell asleep as soon as we got out of the gorge and slept all the way to the hotel. It was a great day and a great way to wind up Michael's visit.
